Here for sale we have a Fender American Original '60s Stratocaster in Olympic White finish. Made in the USA in 2022, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with a Pure Vintage Synchronized Tremolo with Bent Steel Saddles and a set of Pure Vintage Single Line "Fender Deluxe" tuning machines. A trio of Fender Pure Vintage '65 Gray-Bottom Single-Coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck tone and middle​/​bridge tone controls. The Maple neck plays very well, with the Thick 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip, whilst remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. Certainly, the profile is distinct from Fender's more modern offerings and delivers a unique but practical playing experience across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius is well suited to a wide range of styles and techniques. The Pearloid fingerboard inlays and binding are a nice touch which add a real sense of luxury to the playing experience. The smooth lines of the Stratocaster body are as comfortable in the arms as ever, ensuring comfort in both standing and seated positions. The trio of Fender Pure Vintage '65 Gray-Bottom Single-Coils installed in this instrument deliver classic Stratocaster tone. The bridge pickup provides bright and glistening trebles with plenty of spank, power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone. The middle pickup produces bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup has rounded creamer tones great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, whilst also handling higher gain settings masterfully, offering plenty of room for tonal scaping. Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition, the neck pocket demonstrates several small chips in the finish to the treble side of the neck. The neck mounting plate has chipped and indented the surrounding finish, revealing the wood beneath. Further chipping of the finish is apparent to the rear edge of the neck pocket. Spots of yellow discoloration are apparent to both the front and rear face towards the top, most apparent on the treble side horn. Early finish checking is apparent in the inside of the treble side horn. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
