Here for sale we have a Regal RD-05 electro-acoustic guitar in a Sunburst finish. This guitar features a Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, a Mahogany neck topped with a 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome DJ Auden 18:1 sealed tuning machines are fitted, along with Spun 10.5" Aluminum Con. This guitar is equipped with a lipstick pickup, this is wired to a master volume and tone. The gloss Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘C’ profile feeling chunky without being cumbersome, offering a dependable grip whilst also providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 14” radius allows for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The hollow body construction also makes longer durations of playing a comfortable experience. The tone of this bass is very punchy and focused, with great projection and a solid midrange that will cut through easily in a mix. It responds well to touch dynamics and articulates well, offering a rootsy tone that would be a fine addition to any bassist’s arsenal. With its hollow body, metal cone, and lipstick pickup, this bass really lends itself to grassroots blues. A very unique and exciting instrument that is sure to inspire. Neck: Overall excellent condition, a consistent patch of very light scratching is apparent to the rear just before the heel causing a hazing of the finish. Body: Overall very good condition, the rear face demonstrates moderate scratching towards the bass side waist, discoloring the finish. Further indentation and scratching is apparent throughout, consistent with buckle rash. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included. Hardware: Fully functional with very light signs of wear. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2.5mm - Bass 2.5mm Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.
