Here for sale we have a Taylor BT2e in Satin Natural finish. Made in 2019 this guitar features a bolt-on construction and comprises aNeo-Tropical Mahogany Top,Layered Sapele Back and Sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. The top is adorned with an understated, classy rosette design. A set of Chrome sealed tuning machines are installed and complete a well crafted utilitarian instrument. A Taylor ES:B piezo pickup is installed and wired to a preamp with Tone, Volume and Tuner. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a rather shallow profile that might be described as a very soft 'V' or 'U' shape. Due to the bolt-on construction of the instrument, the neck heel is much slimmer than it would typically be, offering fantastic access to the upper frets. The open-pore Satin finish to the rear of the neck is pleasant to the touch and adds a tactile sensation to the playing experience. The Ebony fingerboard is a premium feature which adds a sense of luxury to the playing experience. The body is smaller than a typical dreadnought, and remains comfortable and practical in both standing and seated positions. The acoustic voice of the Taylor BT2e is very impressive for a travel-focussed instrument. The top projects well, delivering plenty of volume and a wide sensitive dynamic range. Whilst smaller than a dreadnought, there is still plenty of bass response and warmth on offer. The Mahogany back and sides enhance the overall tone with a rich character, and along with the Solid Spruce top which delivers ample brightness, the Taylor BT2 is equally at home as a solo strummer or as part of an impromptu ensemble while on your travels. Our ID: 1060625106413 Weight: 3.05lbs Serial: 2103105196 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the top edge of the headstock, some of these have pierced the finish slightly exposing the wood beneath. Mild markings are present to the front face of the headstock, these can be seen to the treble side near the B and high E tuning machines. Neck: Overall excellent condition. all aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use. Body: Overall very good condition. All edges of the body both front and back display light to mild indentations, the most apparent of these can be seen to thew bass side lower bout edge to the rear of the body where the indentation has broken the finish. Mild scratching can be seen to the lower bout front face, these have not broken through he finish. The satin finish to the front face has polished to an almost gloss appearance, this is common with regular past use on satin finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
