Other appointments include a Floyd Rose Special 7-String Double Locking Recessed Tremolo, Jackson Pointed Reverse 7-In-Line headstock, a Floyd Rose Locking nut, and a set of Direct Mount Seymour Duncan SH-7 Distortion Humbucking pickups. The pickups are wired to master volume, master tone, and a 5-way pickup selector. The hand-rubbed oil finish neck plays well, feeling smooth and easy in the hand, with a fairly thin and flat profile, paired with the 12" to 16" radius, offers ergonomic thumb positioning, great for more technically demanding playing styles. Dual bevelled cutaways offer unobstructed access to the upper register and the jumbo fret wire feels absolutely rock solid under the fingers. The Direct Mount Seymour Duncan SH-7 Distortion Humbuckers humbuckers sound thick and hot, with a deep low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with biting aggressive highs, pairing perfectly with a driven amp. Master controls keep things feeling nice and intuitive, making for a really unified feeling instrument with a real workhorse quality.
