Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Special Left-Handed Electric Guitar in TV Yellow finish. Built in the USA in 2021, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with an adjustable wraparound bridge, Graph Tech nut and Gibson Deluxe tuning machines. The pickups installed are a Gibson P-90 in the bridge position, and an aftermarket Lollar Staple P90 in the neck position. These pickups are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volume controls and independent tone controls. The Mahogany neck plays well, with the 50’s Vintage profile that fills the hand nicely without feeling at all cumbersome, providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck is very pleasant to the touch, and assists with smooth transitions up and down the register. The traditional 12" fingerboard radius feels as flat and consistent as ever, offering comfortable playability right the way up the neck. The familiar twin horns of the SG body provide uninhibited access to the upper frets, whilst the body cutaway ensures that reaching the higher frets is an effortless affair. The pair of P-90 pickups installed in this guitar deliver a thick and full throaty tone, with a warm low end and driving midrange that is complimented well by crisp and cutting highs. The roundness of the Lollar Staple neck pickup is perfect for solo tones, whilst the brightness of the bridge position will put your rhythm playing front and centre in the mix. The pickups are fantastic for pushing the front end of an amplifier, whilst offering excellent dynamic control. The simple control layout is not intrusive to the playing experience and offers comprehensive control of your tone. The volume and tone pots are highly interactive, responding very well to subtle changes. Our ID: 1130625108360 Weight: 7.7lbs Serial: 2344100274 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The front face demonstrates some very light scratches only visible under close scrutiny. The rear face demonstrates what appears to be scuff markings, however these are simply areas where the finish is particularly thin. Neck: Overall very good condition. There is a patch of wear behind the 3rd fret on the bass side of the rear of the neck which exposes the finish beneath. Body: Overall very good condition. All faces of the body demonstrate light to moderate scratching which can only be viewed under certain light. There is a chip on the bass side edge by the controls which appears to have been filled to an amateur standard. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use with substantial material remaining for any future fretwork the new owner may wish to perform.
