Wow! This 1977 Ricky gives all of the vintage treble clank and bass growl synonymous with so many records from the era. It's also in top condition with no bridge, truss-rod or electric issues whatsoever. The bass is nice and light (4.39KG​/​9.67lbs), has the skinny neck associated with 70s 4001 basses and gives clarity and snap in equal measure. There are plenty of little scuffs and scratches but nothing that effects the integrity or playability of the instrument. The instrument oozes cool and would fantastic as a main touring instrument, a studio bass for vintage vibes or just something to enjoy playing at the pub open mic night. Only thing we can identify is at some point, someone lost the original strap button and struggled to find a replacement so hammered a small nail into the back of the bass as a temporary solution. This bass is begging to be played - pick or fingers, any genre, any time. Comes with non-original hard case and 3-year warranty. Will be safely and thoroughly packaged.
