Built in the USA in 2020, this Grand Pacific guitar features an all-solid-wood construction, with a Mahogany top, Sapele back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Eucalyptus fingerboard. Other appointments include a Eucalyptus bridge, V-Class bracing, and a Taylor ES2 preamp system with controls for volume, treble and bass. The satin finish neck plays very well, with a moderate profile that will suit the vast majority of players. The round shoulder Grand Pacific body style is an excellent all rounder, feeling somewhere between a dreadnought and a grand auditorium, offering excellent dynamic control and projection thanks to the V-Class bracing. The acoustic voice of the Taylor AD27e is rich and deep, with a broad response across the frequency range which produces a wonderfully rounded and versatile tone, suitable for a wide range of playing styles and genres. Undeniably warm, the V-Class bracing allows the tonewoods to resonate freely and deliver a vibrant, precise treble response that adds a sparkle and shimmer to both chordal and melodic playing. The Sapele of the back and sides provides depth and warmth. The Solid Mahogany top projects beautifully, and in combination with the large body delivers a wide & sensitive dynamic range which feels responsive to the touch. Neck: Overall very good condition, the fingerboard demonstrates light indentation and staining, consistent with regular playwear. This does not affect playability and is most noticeable between frets 2-7 however markings are visible across the entire register. The rear of the neck demonstrates light indentation throughout the register which can be slightly felt under the thumb. Body: Overall very good condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the body against the dark open pore finish. Some light indentations are apparent to the rear face under direct lighting at certain angles. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, with indentation in the early register.
