Here for sale we have a Fender Classic Player Baja Telecaster in Blonde finish. Made in Mexico in 2007, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Ash body, Maple neck and 21 fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with Chrome hardware including 3-Saddle string-thru-body bridge with Brass Barrel Saddles, and Vintage-Style Split post tuning machines. The pickups are a Custom Shop Vintage-Style Single-Coil in the bridge and a Custom Shop Tele Twisted' Single-Coil in the neck, these are wired to a 4-way blade selector, master volume with a S-1 switch and a master tone control. The Maple neck is carved into a Soft 'V' profile, which provides a comfortable playing surface in all registers. The 9.5" fingerboard radius offers a suitably vintage feel, whilst still allowing for more modern playing techniques. This is paired with Medium Jumbo size frets, which enhance vibrato and string bending techniques. The familiar lines of the Telecaster body feel great in the arms, and the traditional control layout means that you can really focus on your playing. The Custom Shop designed pickups provide a refined yet authentic Telecaster tone, with coated wiring in the neck pickup adding extra brightness and glassiness whilst remaining warm and rich enough for nicely rounded tones. The bridge pickup provides the classic Telecaster 'Twang' in spades, perfect for country and blues playing. The 4-way blade switch in this guitar offers the extra option of the neck and middle pickups in series, as well as the usual parallel option. The S-1 Switch provides the opportunity to hear positions 2 & 4 out of phase - great for funk players. Neck: Overall excellent condition. There are two very small indentations centrally on the rear of the neck, one behind the seventh fret, neither of which are easily visible or can be felt underhand. Body: Overall excellent condition. All faces of the body demonstrate light scratching under close scrutiny. There is what appears to be paint transfer on the bass side lower bout edge leaving several small white marks. There is a small indentation on the rear of the body on the bass side upper horn, which does not pierce the finish. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate mild indentations and flattening of the crown, not affecting play ability. There is substantial material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (Flat head driver) not included.
