Built in 2013 in China, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Gold hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece along with Grover sealed tuning machines. The Pickups are a pair of Epiphone ProBucker humbuckers, wired to a 3-way selector, bridge volume (push​/​pull split coil) with tone and neck volume (push​/​pull split coil) and tone control (push​/​pull phase reversal). The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the SlimTaper ‘D’ profile feeling slim and providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The single cutaway body design provides the player with unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those high end lead lines. The Epiphone ProBucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Epiphone ProBucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. The push​/​pull coil-split options allow for the humbuckers to be split offering a single-coil voicing, adding to the versatile nature of this guitar. Another feature of this model is that the neck tone push​/​pull pot can reverse the phase of the neck pickup to give you that iconic Gary Moore sound in an instant. There is some discoloration to the rear of the headstock relative to the rear of the neck, there is also discoloration to the binding. Light scratching is evident under close scrutiny. Neck: Overall very good condition. The heel of the neck displays discoloration, as does the top of the neck where it meets the headstock, there is also discoloration to the binding.There is a scratch on the back of the neck behind the nut. Body: Overall very good condition. All faces of the body demonstrate light scratching under close scrutiny. There are several areas of the body where the finish has discolored to a yellow. This is consistent across all aspects of the guitar and is somewhat common with white finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets display minimal signs of wear with substantial material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
