This guitar is a commission sale - if you have a high end guitar you are interested in selling, please contact us via our easy to find website - search: Sell Us Your Guitar. Here for sale we have a CSL Custom Electric Guitar in Ebony finish. Built in Japan circa.1970’s, this guitar features a bolt-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Maple neck and 22 Narrow fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Gold hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece along with Grover tuning machines. The Pickups are a pair of CSL humbuckers Humbuckers, these are wired to a 3-way selector, bridge volume, tone control and a neck volume and tone control. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a profile feeling resembling a ‘C’, feeling slender, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Narrow frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, whilst the single cutaway body design provides great access to the higher frets. The CSL humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The CSL humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.
