Here for sale we have a Takamine EF341SC Dreadnought Electro-Acoustic Guitar in Black Gloss finish. Made in Japan in 2016, this guitar consists of a solid Cedar top, laminated Maple back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Chrome Takamine tuners, a Rosewood bridge, and a Takamine CT-4B II preamp and pickup system that has controls for volume, treble, middle, bass, pitch, and a built-in tuner. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Asymmetrical 'C' profile offering easy reach and comfortable playability in all registers. The gloss finish to the rear of the neck is nicely tactile under the thumb, and assists with smooth navigation of the 25.375" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, The Dreadnought cutaway body shape fills the arms well without feeling cumbersome, whilst the cutaway enhances access to the upper register. The acoustic voice of the EF341SC is supremely well balanced, offering a warm yet understated low end, clear and open mid range and sparkling, shimmery highs that beautifully colour every note played on the instrument. The choice of woods selected ensures a rich resonance which produces an intimate and connected playing experience, with a wide and sensitive dynamic range. The CT-4B II preamp provides plenty of variation in tone thanks to the 3-band EQ, allowing the user to adjust the low, mid and high frequencies independently. Combined with the unique Palathetic pickup system this is a fantastic sounding guitar when plugged into an amp.
