Here for sale we have an Ibanez Artcore Series AS93 hollow-body electric guitar in Violin Sunburst finish. Made in China in 2016, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Flamed Maple body, 3pc Mahogany​/​Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Gold hardware is fitted including an ART-1 T-o-M style bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece, as well as a set of Ibanez die-cast sealed tuning machines with pearloid buttons. A pair of Ibanez humbucking pickups are installed, with an ACH2 in the bridge and ACH1 in the neck. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume & tone controls. The 3pc Mahogany​/​Maple neck plays very well, with the AS Artcore profile feeling somewhat like a rounded 'C' shape; fairly substantial in the hand without being at all cumbersome. Certainly, the profile provides a confidence-inspiring grip for chord playing whilst remaining slim enough for fast lead lines and solos. The Rosewood fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The Abalone block inlays add a sense of luxury to the playing experience while setting off the visually striking finish. The pair of Ibanez ACH humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full bodied tones, well suited to a wide array of genres. The ACH1 in the neck position is warm and round, with plenty of power for pushing your lead tones to the front of the mix. The bridge is of course brighter, and provides a searing distortion sound for rock rhythm parts and riffs. The hollow-body construction of the guitar offers a lively and responsive sound, allowing you to control your tone easily with just the power of your right hand. There are some light scuff marks along the top edge of the headstock as well as some slight delamination on the rear edge. Neck: Overall excellent condition. There is a small indentation which slightly breaks the finish to the bass side of the rear of the neck behind the 4th fret. Body: Overall excellent condition. Any markings are difficult to discern. Condition of Frets: The frets display minimal signs of wear, with substantial material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
