Here for sale we have a Fender Standard Stratocaster in Arctic White. Made in Mexico in 2012, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body with 3-ply white pickguard. The 21 fret Maple fingerboard is matched with a Gloss finished Maple neck. This instrument is fitted with Chrome hardware including a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo and Fender standard Sealed tuning machines. The pickups in this guitar are a Fender Standard Strat Single-Coils in the bridge and two Fender Standard Single-Coils wired in a conventional Stratocaster layout, with a 5-way blade pickup selector, master volume, neck tone control and middle tone control. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Modern 'C' profile allowing for easy fretting in any register and providing ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 9.5” radius makes bending and vibrato techniques a breeze, whilst offering a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for quick lead lines. The Medium Jumbo frets enhance vibrato techniques at speed whilst also providing a rock-solid and smooth playing experience while still giving that conventional Fender feel. The pickups consist of a Fender Standard Strat Single-Coils in the bridge position and two Fender Standard Single-coils, and provide the player with classic Stratocaster sound with the added bonus of a higher output in the bridge position than regular single-coils, which is fantastic for driving an amp. The bridge pickup sounds bright and glistening with plenty of bite. Power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone. The middle pickup sits great with a nice balance of bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup is smooth, with a beautiful warm, rounded tone that handles distorted tones masterfully. Our ID: 1030725113980 Weight: 7.7lbs Serial: MX12084390 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The edges of the headstock demonstrate light scuff marks particularly to the point of the treble side edge. Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching and indentations under close scrutiny, none of which can be felt underhand. There is a small chip on the fingerboard on the treble side edge between the 4th and 5th fret. Body: Overall very good condition. The top edge of the treble side horn displays an indentation which has been touched up to an amateur standard. There are a small number of indentations which break the finish, specifically to the bass side of the neck plate, bass side of the body beside the middle pickup and on the front face of the bass side upper horn, none of which expose the wood beneath. There are several other light scratches and indentations to the rest of the body, with a more prominent scratched to the bass side of the tremolo cavity plate. Condition of Frets: The frets display moderate indentations and flattening of the crown, particularly to the first 5 frets, not affecting playability. There is substantial material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3​/​16" Hex) not included. Hardware: Fully functional and excellent condition. The pickguard and tremolo cavity plate have been replaced and display light scratching. Structural: No structural concerns to note.
