Here for sale we have a PRS SE 245 Electric Guitar in Vintage Sunburst finish. Made in Korea in 2013, this set-neck guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a flame Maple veneer, a Mahogany neck, and a 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a PRS Compensated Wraparound bridge and a set of PRS die-cast chrome tuners, and a set of PRS humbuckers. The pickups featured are a pair of PRS SE Soapbar pickups, these are wired to a 3-way pickup selector as well as individual volume and tone controls for each pickup. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Wide Fat profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate melodic lines and solos. The Gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 24.5" scale, whilst the signature PRS sculpted lower horn enhances access to the upper frets. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 10" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing. The pair of PRS SE Soapbar pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and smooth tones, well suited to a wide range of genres and playing styles. There is plenty of warmth and roundness in the neck position, perfect for solo tones or shimmering clean sounds. The bridge position is brighter and slightly hotter, meaning that you can easily cut through the mix with biting rhythm tones, or achieve a twangy clean sounds for country and blue licks. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound without being intrusive to the playing experience.
