Here for sale we have a PRS SE 245 Electric Guitar in Vintage Yellow finish. Made in Korea in 2014, this set-neck guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a flame Maple veneer, a Mahogany neck, and a 20 fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include a wraparound bridge with adjustable saddles, mother of pearl bird inlays, PRS die-cast chrome tuners, and a set of PRS humbuckers. These pickups are wired to two independent volume controls, two independent tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Wide Fat profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate melodic lines and solos. The gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 24.5" scale, whilst the signature PRS sculpted lower horn enhances access to the upper frets. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 10" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing. The pair of PRS humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver full-bodied powerful tones, with a smooth and buttery attack that is well suited to a wide range of playing styles and genres. The neck pickup is warm, with plenty of power to push your solos and lead lines to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is of course brighter and hotter, saturating into a snarling distortion when driving the amp; perfect for those rock riffs and rhythm parts. The pickups clean up nicely too, with shimmering clean sounds. A previous repair on the headstock is evident on the bass side tip, this has been performed to an acceptable standard and is completely stable. The rest of the headstock demonstrates light scratches. Neck: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is evident to the rear of the neck. Body: Overall excellent condition. Any markings are difficult to discern aside from light scratches under close scrutiny, as is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets display minimal signs of wear.
