Here for sale we have an Epiphone Casino Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Natural finish. Made in Korea in 1996, this set-neck guitar consists of a laminated Maple body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a ABM Roller Bridge 24000n-RO N, upgraded top-locking tuners, and a trapeze tailpiece. A pair of Dogear P-90 pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume & tone controls. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the SlimTaper 'D' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip on chords, whilst remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and offers a smooth and durable playing surface right the way up the register. The neck binding and parallelogram inlays are nice touches which make the instrument feel premium and unique. The 12" radius works in conjunction with the medium jumbo frets to provide a rock solid and nicely flat playing surface across the register, well suited to a wide range of styles. The pair of Dogear P-90 pickups installed in this guitar deliver an incredibly versatile range of tones that lend themselves well to a variety of styles whilst remaining unique. P-90 pickups are known to fall somewhere between a humbucker and single-coil, with more brightness than a humbucker whilst sounding thicker than a typical single-coil. This is certainly true with the Epiphone Dogear P-90T Classic pickups, with plenty of grunt for your drive and distortion tones, whilst retaining the brightness required for crystalline clean tones. Our ID: 1110725116340 Weight: 6.35lbs Serial: R96D 0030 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light signs of delamination can be seen to the front face most prominently to the treble side, this can be seen under close scrutiny. A light indentation is present to the rear face, this has not broken through the lacquer finish. The front face displays light scratching which can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall very good condition. Light pitting is present to the fingerboard most noticeably to the early register, this is common with regular past use. Light chipping and discoloration is present to the binding, this is most apparent to the treble side, middle of the register and can very slightly be felt in the playing position. Body: Overall very good condition. A mild indentation is present to the treble side of the neck joint, this has caused mild delamination of the lacquer finish. A light indentation is present to the rear face treble side horn, this can only be seen under direct light. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Flattening of the crown is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) included. Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light to mild tarnishing and oxidation is apparent to the metal hardware, this is most noticeable to the scratchplate bracket. The bridge has been replaced with a ABM Roller Bridge 24000n-RO N and the tuning machines have been replaced with a set of top locking machines. The original bridge and tuners are included.
