Made in China in 2012, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Maple top, Maple back and sides, a 1-piece Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a VBF70 vintage vibrato, an ART-2 roller bridge, Sure Grip III control knobs, and a set of Ibanez Artcore Humbucker 1 pickups. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘AF Artcore’ profile filling the hand nicely while still feeling thin making efficient chordal transitions. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, with its 12” radius allowing for being and vibrato techniques. The Single cutaway provides full access to the upper registers. The hollow body construction of the instrument provides a nicely open and airy tone which is dynamically responsive to the player's touch. The set of Ibanez Artcore Humbucker 1 pickups deliver a thick and full-bodied voicing, with a rich low end, solid midrange and a clear, articulate top end. Our ID: 1230725119622 Weight: 8lbs Serial: S12071543 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. A small indentation is present to the top edge of the front face, this has broken through the finish. The front face of the headstock displays light scratching which can be seen under direct light. Neck: Overall excellent condition. Light discoloration of the finish can be seen to the base of the neck, this is common with white finished paint jobs. All other aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use. Body: Overall excellent condition. Mild discoloration is present to the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the bass side f-hole and underneath the tailpiece, this is common with white finishes and exposure to sunlight. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with light indentation in the early register not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included. Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light tarnishing is present to the metal hardware consistent with past use. Light marking is present to the scratchplate which can only be seen under direct light. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
