Manufactured in Japan as part of the ‘Made in Japan Classic’ line in 2015, this bass is made using a bolt on construction, comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other features include a 4-saddle Vintage-style bridge,vintage-style machine heads and a synthetic bone nut. Equipped in this bass are a pair of Vintage Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups, wired to a master volume and individual tone controls. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Slim ‘C' profile allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning, whilst the gloss finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck. The Maple fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 7.25” radius and vintage style frets allow for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The double cutaway and contoured body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience. Equipped in this bass are a pair of Vintage Single-Coil Jazz Bass, offering the classic and punchy tone which the Jazz bass is revered for, delivering classic original-era tone and power, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. Our ID: 1170725117860 Weight: 8.8lbs Serial: JD15013785 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition, both the top edges and treble side edges demonstrate light indentation, piercing the finish slightly. Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates a moderate chip to the finish towards the bottom edge, revealing the wood beneath. An indentation on the treble side horn piercing but not chipping the finish. An indentation can be seen on the bass side upper horn just beside the pickguard, breaking the finish but not exposing the wood beneath. The treble side bottom corner of the body demonstrates a cluster of several indentations very slightly piercing the finish. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and small indentations visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional.
