Here for sale we have an ESP LTD KH-602 Electric Guitar in Gloss Black finish. Made in Korea in 2010, this thru-neck constructed guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include ESP tuners, a Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge, and a set of EMG 81​/​60 Active humbucking pickups that are wired to two independent volume controls, a master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand with the ‘Extra Thin U’ neck profile feeling incredibly ergonomic, allowing for great thumb placement all across the neck, whilst the 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard and X-jumbo frets provide a robust playing experience that feels rock solid under the fingers, whilst enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The 13.7” provides an even and balanced feel across the strings, particularly in drop tunings. The contoured neck heel provides unobstructed access to the upper register, which works great with the double cutaway body design. Amplified, this guitar has a thick low end grunt and sculpted mid range thanks to its pair of EMG pickups. The EMG 81 humbucker in the bridge position delivers powerful but balanced rock and metal tones with rich upper-midrange harmonic content. The low strings are tight and the high strings scream with harmonics, making it a go-to pickup for hard-hitting crunch rhythms and blazing lead tones. The EMG 60 humbucker in the neck position offers all the soloing clarity you could wish for, with sweet sustain and a warm, full sound that still possesses a clear attack providing a hot output delivering smooth, fluid solo tones under gain, while still being capable of bell-like clean tones. Our ID: 1210725118890 Weight: 8.25lbs Serial: W10070827 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The tip of the headstock displays a light chip to the finish which has lightly exposed the wood beneath. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall excellent condition. The rear of the neck displays light scratching throughout the register which can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. Light indentations can be seen to the bass side waist edge and belly contour, these can be seen under direct light and do not break the finish. Light to mild scratching is present to all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to both the treble side horn front face and the lower bout treble edge. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. The control plates to the rear of the guitar have their protective film still applied. All other aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use. Tremolo arm included.
