Here for sale we have a Gibson ES-339 Studio Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Ginger Burst finish. Made in 2015 in the USA, this set-neck guitar consists of a 3-ply Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Torrefied Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tone Pro AVR-2 bridge, a Locking Stop Bar tailpiece, a Super '57 Classic Humbucker in the neck position, and a '57 Classic Humbucker in the bridge position. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. The Maple neck plays very well, with a traditional 'C' shape that feels comfortable in the and and offers a fine balance between a lead and chord focussed neck. The 12" fingerboard radius is traditional for Gibson, and provides the versatility required to cover anything from big string bends to Jazzy chord voicings. The double cutaway body design works with the Gloss finish to the rear of the neck to ensure that navigation of the 24.75" scale is an absolute breeze. The humbucking pickups produce a thick, creamy tone, versatile enough to be used in anything from Jazz to full-throttle Hard Rock. The Super '57 Classic Humbucker in the neck offers plenty of roundness and sustain, with glassy, shimmering clean sounds. Driving the amp produces a thick and smooth crunch, perfect for solo tones or chunky rhythm sounds. The '57 Classic in the bridge can achieve anything from a delicate, bright chiming cleans through to heavily distorted rock lead tones. The volume and tone controls offer comprehensive control of your tone right on the guitar, meaning that you can fit into any musical setting with ease. Our ID: 1130825125661 Weight: 7.05lbs Serial: 10655726 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall excellent condition, the front face demonstrates light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. This is most apparent to the top treble side corner. The finish between the faceplate and the headstock demonstrates checking consistent with Nitro finished instruments. Neck: Overall excellent condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates very light scratching and indentation, most notably behind the 9th fret to the center of the profile. This cannot be felt under the thumb in playing position. Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates light yet consistent scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. This is most apparent between the pickups and the treble side waist consistent with the use of a plectrum. Some light indentation is apparent beside the treble side of the bridge adjustment that does not pierce the finish. The rear demonstrates light yet consistent scratching across the entire face, most notably towards the bass side waist. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional.
