Here for sale we have a Fender Classic 70s Precision Bass Electric Bass Guitar in Olympic White finish. Made in Japan circa. 1994​/​95, this bolt-on constructed bass consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a vintage-style top-loading bridge and Nickel open-geared tuning machines. A split single-coil PB pickup is installed, and is wired to master volume and tone controls. The Maple neck plays well, with the profile resembling a 'C’ shape, providing a lively and articulate playing experience in all registers. The profile is certainly easy to get along with, offering ergonomic thumb positioning and comfortable reach across the neck. The Gloss finish to the rear provides a slick and smooth playing surface, ensuring that navigation of the 34" scale is a fast and breezy affair. The Gloss Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius delivers a suitably vintage-inspired playing experience across the register. The split single-coil PB pickup installed in this guitar delivers fantastic fundamental bass tone right away. Deep, rumbling lows will fill out your mix, whilst punchy mids and a sparkly top end will ensure that you have plenty of snap and attack to provide a lively and percussive performance. Our ID: 1140825126200 Weight: 8.15lbs Serial: T005333 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. The edges of the headstock display light indentations which have not broken through the finish, with this to indentations to the top edge has continued to the front face. Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use. Body: Overall very good condition. A lacquer crack can be seen near the pick guard by the input jack, this is structurally sound and does not affect the structure of the instrument. Light to mild scratching can be seen to all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen both the front face bass side lower bout and rear face treble side horn, these have discolored the white finish. All aspects of the body display light to mild indentations with the most noticeable being seen to the bass side of the front face, this has cracked the finish but does not expose the wood beneath. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (flathead driver) not included. Hardware: Overall very good condition. The scratchplate displays light to moderate scratching which can be seen under direct light, this is common with regular past use. The pickup covers display marking which has polished the finish, common with regular past use. One of the screws to the pickguard has been replaced by a previous owner, this can be seen near the input jack. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
