Made in 2008, this bolt-on constructed bass guitar consists of an Alder body, Maple neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 4-Saddle HiMass Vintage bridge, Knurled Flat-Top knobs, a Synthetic Bone nut, Chrome hardware, and an aftermarket DiMarzio Split-Coil Single Coil P Bass Pickup. This pickup is wired to a master volume, and a master tone. The Maple neck plays very comfortably, with Fenders ‘C’ profile filling the hand assuringly while still allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning. The double cutaway body design offers extended access into the upper register. This works well with the Gloss finish to the rear of the neck, allowing for smooth navigation of the 34” scale. The Medium Jumbo fret wire combined with the 9.5” radius makes for a great feel under the fingers, and provides the versatility required for a wide range of styles and techniques. The DiMarzio Split-Coil Single Coil P Bass Pickup installed in this guitar delivers a great fundamental bass tone as soon as you plug the instrument in. The low end is thick and full-bodied, ensuring that your bass playing fills out the mix nicely. The mids are punchy and clear, whilst the sparkly top end captures all the spank and attack of your playing, keeping you in the front of the mix. Light indentations are present to the top and treble side edges, these can be seen under close scrutiny. Very light scratching is present to the front face which can be seen under close scrutiny. Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the fingerboard, these can be seen in the early register and are consistent with the strings touching the fingerboard. Very light indentations and scratching is present to the rear of the neck, these can be seen under direct light at close scrutiny and can not be felt in the playing position. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has lightly polished to a gloss texture common with regular past use. Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratching and indentations can be seen to all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the bass side horn rear face where the indentation has cracked the lacquer finish but does not expose the wood and the scratching has discolored the finish. Light scratching is present to the center of the rear face, these can only be seen under direct light and is consistent with buckle rash. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (flat head driver) not included. Hardware: Overall very good condition. The scratchplate displays light scratching which can be seen under direct light, the most apparent of these can be seen next to the volume control.
