Here for sale we have a PJD Custom St John Elite Electric Guitar in Lizards Breath finish. Made in the UK in 2024, this guitar is a one of one design made for the Winter NAMM Show in 2025. With features such as the gradient-coloured painted neck, and the bright green inlays, this guitar truly stands out from the rest! This bolt-on constructed guitar consists of a Chambered Swamp Ash body with a Flame Maple top, a Flame Maple neck, and a 22-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include a Hardtail 6-saddle bridge, Nickel hardware, Gotoh 510 tuning machines, and a set of PJD 'Democracy Manifest' humbuckers. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone (push​/​pull coil split), and a three-way pickup selector. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Standard ‘C’ neck profile feels incredibly ergonomic, allowing for great thumb placement all across the neck, whilst the Nitrocellulose finish provides effortless transitions. The Ebony fingerboard and Medium Jumbo frets provide a robust playing experience that feels rock solid under the fingers, whilst enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques at speed. The 10” Radius provides an even and balanced feel across the strings, aiding in even tension across the string and up and down register. The offset body design provides the player with unobstructed access to the higher frets, whilst the light weight aids with comfort in both standing and seating positions. The Custom St John Elite comes fitted with two PJD 'Democracy Manifest' Humbucker pickups. With a crushing high-output, these pickups combine the aggression of Ceramic 8 magnets with the mid-ranges of Alnico V. The humbucker in the neck provides smooth and creamy tones that are perfect for rhythm playing and lead lines. The humbucker at the bridge packs a real punch, with a firm midrange and loads of bite. Overall a very clear and articulate sounding instrument with a real sense of immediacy in the transient response, easily cutting through the mix.
