Here for sale we have a Gibson Memphis ES-335 'Dot' Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Graphite Metallic finish. Made in the USA in 2018, this set-neck constructed guitar features a 3-ply Maple​/​Poplar​/​Maple body, a Quatersawn Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Nickel hardware, an ABR-1 bridge with Brass Saddles, Grover 'Milk Bottle' Rotomatic tuners, and a pair of MHS II humbucking pickups. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Rounded "C" profile feeling nicely full and articulate in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its traditional 12" radius is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The familiar lines of the ES-335 body are as comfortable in the arms as ever, ensuring that long practice sessions and gigs are fatigue free. Amplified, the pair of MHS II humbuckers work in conjunction with the semi-hollow construction to deliver the full and thick sounds that we all expect from Gibson. The guitar resonates beautifully, filling out the sound with a deep and rich character. The neck pickup is warm and round, and can handle plenty of gain meaning you can achieve anything from jazzy lines through to soaring rock and blues solo tones. The bridge pickup is hotter, driving the front end of an amp with ease and producing the bright, biting tones that cut right through the mix to put your playing front and centre. The traditional dual humbucker control layout feels very responsive, allowing you to explore a wide tonal palette right on the instrument. Our ID: 1270825129800 Weight: 8.25lbs Serial: 12568720 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, common with high gloss finishes. The top edge displays indentations. There is a chip to the rear of the headstock below the high 'E' string which exposes the wood beneath. The heastock also demonstrates very light hanger burn common with nitrocellulose finishes. Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching and small indentations, however these are all masked well by the metallic finish and cannot be felt underhand in a playing position. There is a prominent indentation is just behind the 14th fret on the treble side. There are some slight markings beneath the nut where measurement were taken in fitting a new nut by a previous technician. Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is evident to the front face with one prominent scratch to the lower bout. The rear of the body demonstrates scratching consistent with buckle wear, these can only be seen under direct light. There is a small indentation on the edges of the lower bout, one by the controls on the treble side and one on the treble side in a similar location. There are consistent indentations​/​scratching across the front face binding on the bottom edge of the guitar. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Hardware: Overall very good condition. The nut has been replaced with a bone one by the previous owner to a bone nut. The bridge and tailpiece display light tarnishing of the finish, this is common with past use. The scratch plate displays light scratching which can be seen under direct light, this is common with past use. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
