The connection was a bit slow, but it's nothing to worry about.

Gibson Les Paul Classic 1960 Reissue Guitar

We have some beautiful 1990's Les Pauls for sale at Gas Station Guitars atm but this 1991 Classic is one of my absolute favourites. There were some amazing guitars put out in the months just prior to the official christening of the Custom Shop in 1993. This is one of them. This guitar features historic specs that soon after were removed when dealers started complaining that the Classic line was outselling the Standard. This guitar features the proper "Les Paul Model" script on the headstock as well as thin cutaway binding and the proper abr-1 bridge setup. 2 out of 3 of these features disappeared in 1993 when the CS became official. These early classics have become increasingly sought-after Les Pauls and this is testament to that; it looks and plays fantastic with plenty of old mojo going on... It’s a superb looking dark aged honeyburst. It's had absolutely no breaks or repairs over the decades. Lots of life in the frets, neck dead straight and truss rod fine. No problems structurally or electrically. No green inlays on it! Weight is a very comfortable 4.1kg (Non-chambered remember…) The original non covered 490R and 500T pickups sound great. Lovely vintage vibe to this thing. The binding and plastics have taken to a deep yellow colour and the metal hardware has a nicely tarnished grey patina. As you'd expect, there is some playwear. The is some wear on the back edge of the guitar. It is 35 years old now so expect the usual wear commensurate with a vintage guitar. There a little crack in one of the plastic pickup rings, a sticker shadow on the back and some of the normal lines in the binding etc. Unsurprisingly this particular guitar was hand selected by Yamano for export to Japan. Read up on these Yamano’s if you don’t already know… Yamano had a lot of sway in what guitars they got to pick due to the volume they imported from the USA to Japan from the 90’s to the mid 2000’s (a period which also coincided with some of Gibson’s finest work). It is said they had the pick of the bunch when it came to choosing the guitars they took back with them. Complete with Japanese Yamano booklet, original assorted Gibson USA docs, and original 1990’s Tan Gibson HSC with pink lining & shroud. All latches fine and combi-lock is working with no problems. A very special 60's Gibson Les Paul Classic. Buy with confidence, Gas Station Guitars is a limited UK company and we offer a no question 14-day refund policy on all our guitars. We ship worldwide (see below for list of countries). At Gas Station Guitars we carefully hand-select all our guitars, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’s gonna be pretty special. All pictures you see above are of the actual guitar, and all guitars have been fully checked and are with us in hand, so it’s straight from us to you! Our packaging is very tough and designed to protect equally guitars with hardcases and softcases. This guitar is NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange and we cannot do holds or lay aways.
