Here is a nice vintage FujiGen built ‘72 Reissue Blonde Telecaster from Fender Japan. It’s a great old MIJ L-Serial from the 1991-1992 era. It has a good quality lightweight Sen ash body with maple neck and 7.25 radius maple fingerboard. Beautiful vintage darkened ash finish on this one, more butterscotch blonde. With 3 steel saddles, white single-ply pickguard, 2 string trees, Gotoh tuners & ‘F’ stamped bridge plate etc. Really resonant due to the lightweight old ash and feels great to play, plenty of Tele twang and some real bite with the TL vintage pickups. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Great light weight for an ash Tele at 3.3kg. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks, repairs, routing or modifications. It has some lovely natural ageing all over with a darkened blonde body. It has 4 or 5 small dings around the edges, not unexpected given the age of this one. Complete with original and vintage correct Fender Japan branded softcase.
