Up for grabs is this scarce Shell Pink Fender Japan Standard Stratocaster. It was a one-off finish probably for a Japanese store. It's an MIJ P-serial from around 1995 built for Fender at the renowned FujiGen plant. Really resonant unplugged and feels great to play, plenty of bite in the USA made Texas Special pickups. Fatter 50's neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No breaks, repairs, routing or modifications. It weighs in at 3.6kg. Some playwear as you’d expect for the age, but no big paint chips, think more scuffing, tiny indents and scratches etc. Complete with original and period correct Fender Japan branded softcase and tremolo arm.
