This is a bit of a Frankenstein of a bass, but it’s absolutely sublime. We think it’s a 72 neck and 73 body thats been through the wringer somewhat. Its had a battery box in the 80’s ( didn’t we all go active then?), 70’s Dimarzio Pick Ups, Badass II Bridge, Gotoh tuners, pretty much every modification and whim has been fulfilled at some point. Its not light, Its pretty much 5kg and has had some weight loss surgery under the plate, made no difference at all, its a heavy but beautiful. However, this bass is incredible, it just works and oozes character. Don’t believe me? Ask pretty much everyone who played it at The Guitar & Bass Show recently. It got lots of love!
