Here for sale we have an Alvarez AF30 acoustic guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in China, this guitar features a dovetail construction comprising a Solid Spruce top, Laminated Mahogany back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Techwood fingerboard with matching bridge. A Bone saddle & nut are fitted, along with a set of Chrome sealed tuning machines. The body is double bound, whilst the top features multi-stripe purfling & an abalone rosette. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile that might be described as a moderately-sized 'D' shape, which fills the hand nicely for a comfortable and easily manageable playing experience across the register. The slightly flattened area to the centre rear promotes ergonomic thumb positioning, perfect for the guitarist just starting out on their musical journey or those looking to get into acoustic playing. The OM body shape is comfortable in the arms, and with two strap buttons, the instrument is ready for seated or standing performances. The acoustic voice of the Alvarez AF30 is bright and clear, with a crisp and balanced response across the frequency range. Lows are unpronounced yet accurate thanks to the small stature of the body, whilst the Mahogany of the back & sides adds a depth and flavour to the tone which you might not expect at this price point. Very light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. It is difficult to discern any other markings to the headstock. Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition. Light indentation and scratching to the treble side of the front face lower bout lightly pierces the finish in places. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the pickguard, consistent with playwear. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material for any future fretwork the new owner may wish to perform.
