Here for sale we have an Aria Pro II TA-61 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in Korea, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include gold hardware, an aftermarket Ibanez tailpiece tremolo system, and a set of humbuckers that are wired to two independent volume controls, two independent tone controls, a 3-way pickup selector, and a 6-way rotary vari-tone selector. The gloss finish neck plays well, feeling smooth and comfortable in the hand, with a relatively thin profile that feels quick in the hand. The dual cutaways give excellent access to the upper register, while the hollow body makes for a very responsive instrument with great dynamic control, and the slightly scaled down body size helps mitigate against feedback. The semi-hollow construction of this guitar means that it resonates and sustains very well. It produces an airy tone with an unpronounced yet well defined low end, detailed upper midrange and sparkly high frequencies. With clean settings, the humbucker in the neck produces a round and smooth tone, perfectly suited to jazz. When driving the amp, the tone is rich and crunchy, lending itself well to blues. The vari-tone is a great option for dialling back the voicing of the guitar, either for rhythm playing, or setting somewhere in the middle and boosting for solos! The front face demonstrates light scratching and indentation which is visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Neck: Overall very good condition, the treble side of the joint between the fingerboard and neck demonstrates some finish cracking. This is not of structural concern. The fingerboard demonstrates very light indentation in the early register which cannot be felt under the strings in playing position. ` Body: Overall very good condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching and indentation visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use with indentation in the early register. This does not affect playability. There is moderate material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included. Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear. This guitar has had an Ibanez bigsby-style tremolo fitted, with the original stop tail and bushings included. The aftermarket tailpiece has not been fitted completely straight but this does not affect playability or intonation. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
