Founded in 2000, Bugera are a relatively young brand when compared with the stalwarts of the industry like Marshall, Fender and Orange. Placing a focus on quality and reliability, Bugera have spent the last 25 years developing a solid reputation for great sounding amps and excellent value. The Vintage V22 INFINIUM 22-Watt 1x12" combo continues this tradition, using three 12AX7 preamp valves and two EL84 power valves to produce an authentic vintage tone with modern convenience and clarity. Two independent channels are featured alongside 'Normal' and 'Bright' inputs. These channels include selectable reverb, with the channel and reverb selection facilitated by the included footswitch. The front panel features a 3-band EQ, independent channel volume, gain, master and presence controls for comprehensive control of your sound. An impressive range of sounds can be achieved with this amplifier, from crystalline cleans with a touch of vintage warmth through to heavily distorted sounds perfect for rock and heavy metal. The Turbosound 12" speaker installed in the cabinet projects exceptionally well, and does an excellent job of conveying all of the detail and nuance of your playing. The Vintage V22 INFINIUM makes use of Bugera's proprietary INFINIUM 'Tube LIfe Multiplier' technology, which claims to extend the lifespan of expensive power valves by up to 20 times. It achieves this by continuously monitoring the performance of each tube and dynamically driving it towards its target operating point. Additionally, an LED will illuminate next to any tube which is reaching the end of its life, taking the guesswork out of tube replacement.
