The connection was a bit slow, but it's nothing to worry about.

Burman Kanto - Dripped light blue and white.

Price drop! Was £1600, now just £1250 With a unique, hand painted finish and custom electrics, there is more than meets the eye with this Kanto. In fact, you could be forgiven for thinking you’ve met before, but if you look closer, you’ll find a custom built guitar with a new attitude and a number of solutions to old problems. You can’t be using the same old methods to make new music, so welcome Kanto into your life and discover how things can be different. The solid ash (standard) body is contoured on the top and back for comfort. The upper frets are easily reached thanks to the gentle contouring on the upper bout and a carved neck heel. The stainless steel frets, with the rolled edge fingerboard, add up to a very comfortable playing experience. The wiring introduces a few more sounds to make it more versatile than you'd think at first sight. The three way switch selects bridge, bridge + neck and neck pickups. The three knobs are volume, middle pickup volume and tone. This means that you can think of it as a T-style layout, with a separate volume to dial in the middle pickup to give you just the right amount of 'quack' in the middle positions. You can also select all three pickups at once for a fuller single coil sound. The pickups are custom wound by Sunbear Pickups. The “Sweet 59 Transition” Set was envisaged alongside German Guitarist Sebastian Schmalz. Seb was looking for a set with swagger and grit while also offering him the dynamic range needed to flex into virtually any Strat-based scenario he found himself in on stage. His comments and feedback led to this crowd pleasing mix of Alnico 2 and 4 with a wide scatter-wind and an output that sits nicely between what one might expect from a late 50s to early 60s Singlecoil Set. The “in-between” positions have plenty of clarity and quack while retaining some girth and are served by a Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity Middle pickup for hum-cancellation. The bridge is wound to eliminate the typical "ice pick" brittle sound and blends beautifully with the other two. * Solid Ash body * Custom hand painted acrylic dripped artwork, finished in satin urethane. * Maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with stainless steel frets * 25 ½” scale * Sunbear Sweet 59 Transition pickups - Bridge 6.6K Alnico IV, Middle 5.8K Alnico II, Neck 5.7K Alnico II * Three way switch (bridge, bridge + neck, neck) * Volume, tone, middle pickup volume * Gotoh VG-300 floating tremolo * Schaller tuners * Fitted with 10-46 gauge strings A custom ordered Kanto starts at £2100.
