Burns Hank Marvin 40th Anniversary 'The Marvin' White 2004

Here for sale we have a Burns Hank Marvin 40th Anniversary 'The Marvin' Electric Guitar. Built in the UK in 2004, this limited edition guitar consists of a Select American Alder body, Canadian Hard Rock Maple neck, and a 21-fret Indian Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Burns Rez-o-Tube Tremolo bridge, Chrome hardware, a Scroll headstock, a set of aftermarket Sperzel Locking tuners, and three Burns Rez-o-Matic Single Coil pickups. These pickups are wired to a Volume Control (Push/Pull Tuner), two Tone controls, and a 5-way pickup selector. The Canadian Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘C’ profile offering a slender feel in the hand, whilst the Gloss finish on the back aids in smooth movement up and down the register. The Rosewood fretboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius making chordal playing, bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The Selected American Alder body is robust and weighty, giving it a dependable feel, whilst the body contours provide comfort in either standing or sitting positions. The trio of Burns Rez-O-Matik US Alnico Magnet single coil pickups installed in this guitar offer a rich set of tones suitable for a wide range of styles. The neck pickup is nicely warm, with plenty of thickness for lead lines and solos. Funky tones are present in the middle position whilst the bridge has all the brightness required for country or blues. A versatile instrument that provides a broad tonal palette for the user to explore. The aftermarket push/pull tuner is a nice touch, and provides a unique and convenient way to tune your guitar at a moment's notice. Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
