Here for sale we have a Chapman Guitars ML1 in Satin Black finish. Made in China in 2009, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Mahogany body, Maple neck and 22 fret Ebony fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Black hardware including 6-point 6-block saddle tremolo bridge and Grover tuning machines. The pickups in this guitar are in a HSS configuration, with a Chapman Humbucker in the bridge and 2 Chapman Single-Coils in the neck and middle positions. These are wired to a 3-way selector, Master volume and master tone controls. The ‘C’ profile Maple sits comfortably in the hand, offering a smooth and comfortable playing surface, providing ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Jumbo frets and 16” radius provides maximum hand comfort in the chording area, while allowing greater speed and cleaner string bending as the player moves up the neck, great for more technically demanding playing styles. The double cutaway body contours allow unobstructed access to the higher register and provide comfort when playing in a seated position. The Chapman Humbucker has a balanced output, producing a thick and powerful modern tone whilst offering a tight bottom end, and a searing high frequency cut, making a great pickup for heavy styles of music and modern techniques. The Chapman Single-Coil neck pickup provides crystal clear clean sounds, with more aggressive mids and increased sustain as you crank the gain. This is perfect for high-speed solos and melodic interludes. The single coil in the middle position sits great with a nice balance of bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. Providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. Light discoloration to the rear of the headstock is present to either side of the nut, this is common with regular past use on satin finishes. Light scratching is present to the front face which can be seen under direct light. The satin finish to the front face has lightly polishing to a gloss appearance, this is common with regular past use on satin finishes. Neck: Overall excellent conditi0on. Very slight scratching is present to the rear of the neck which can only be seen under direct light, these can not be felt in the playing position. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching and indentations which have not pierced the finish can be seen to all aspects of the body. The satin finish in high contact areas has polished to a gloss appearance, this is common with regular past use on satin finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use with some flattening of the crowns in the early register not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5​/​36 hex) not included. Hardware: Overall very good condition.
