Here for sale we have a Chapman ML3 Pro Modern in Hot White finish. Made in Korea in 2021, this guitar features a set-through construction comprising a Basswood body, Roasted Maple neck and 24 fret Roasted Maple fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted, including a string through body hardtail bridge and Hipshot Grip-Lock open geared tuning machines. A pair of Seymour Duncan passive humbucking pickups are installed, with a Sentient in the neck and a Pegasus in the bridge position. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls. The Roasted Maple neck plays very well, with the C Shape profile feeling nice and precise without being too thin. This ensures a playing experience which is highly practical for a wide range of styles and techniques, without being devoid of character as some thin necks can be. The Roasted Maple neck and fingerboard provide a seriously premium feel in the hand, and along with the luminous side dot fret markers create a sense of luxury for the player. The set-through construction, sculpted lower horn and heel all work together to ensure that access to the upper frets is completely unrestricted. The pair of Seymour Duncan passive humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, just as you would expect. The Sentient in the neck position delivers all of the articulation and clarity for your lead and solo tones. The Pegasus in the bridge is brighter, and saturates into a searing distortion tone which is perfect for heavy riffing and rhythm parts. Whilst clearly aimed at the modern metal player, these pickups also deliver sparkling clean sounds for those quieter passages in the set. The 5-way switch also allows you to split the pickups for a more single-coil style sound. Any other markings are difficult to discern. Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition. A light indentation to the front face close to the lower strap button is only visible under direct due to the matte finish of the body. The rear demonstrates scuff and scratch marks surrounding the control cavity and the bottom edge. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
