Made in China this guitar features an all solid construction comprising a Solid Western Red Cedar top, Solid Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck and 19 fret Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. The body is double bound, with multi-stripe Maple purfling and a beautiful Flamed Maple back strip. The Rosette is made of Pearloid with Esteso Weave Pattern. This guitar is fitted with a Bone saddle and nut, along with ornate Gold coloured Cordoba Premium tuning machines with Black Buttons. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ profile that offers comfortable playability in all registers. The 2.039" nut width is traditional for classical guitar and provides great string separation for accurate fretting. The Ebony fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, and with its traditional flat radius is perfect for the classical musician, allowing for smooth and accurate playing across the fingerboard. The voice of this guitar is warm and detailed, with the Solid Rosewood back and sides producing a punchy and responsive midrange whilst also providing crisp high end voicings and a rounded low end. The Solid Western Red Cedar top projects very well, and offers a wide dynamic range that feels very sensitive to the player's touch thanks to the lattice bracing. This continues onto the rear face very slightly. Neck: Overall excellent condition, some light delamination of the finish is apparent at the fret tangs. This is typical and is not indicative of a worse issue. Body: Overall fair condition, a notable crack is apparent running down the bass side finger extension to the soundhole, causing the top beneath the fingerboard to be misaligned. This is indicative of issues with the neck block becoming detached partially. Beneath the strings on the front face, consistent scratching causes a slight hazing of the finish. This continues on towards the treble side waist. Light indentation is apparent frequently from the treble side of the soundhole down towards the treble side edge of the lower bout. Both the rear face and sides demonstrate infrequent light scratching and indentation, most apparent to the lower bout of the rear. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use.
