Here for sale we have a Cort X500 Menace electric guitar in Black Satin finish. Made in Indonesia in 2021, this guitar features a neck-thru neck construction with a Mahogany body with a Maple top, 7-piece Maple​/​Purple Heart​/​Panga Panga neck and a 24 Jumbo fret Ebony fingerboard with 24 Jumbo frets. This guitar is fitted with a Black Floyd Rose 1000 locking bridge and a set of sealed tuning machines. A pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups are featured with a Nazgûl in the bridge and a Sentient in the neck, these are wired to a 3-way pickup selector, master volume and a tone control. The 7-piece Maple​/​Purple Heart​/​Panga Panga neck plays exceptionally well, with the Thin ‘U’ neck profile feels incredibly ergonomic, allowing for great thumb placement all across the neck, whilst the Ebony fingerboard and Jumbo frets provide a robust playing experience that feels rock solid under the fingers, whilst enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The 12"-15.75" compound radius ensures that the playing experience is tailored to the needs of the player in all registers. Jumbo frets increase sustain whilst enhancing the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques, providing an even and balanced feel across the strings, particularly in drop tunings. The contoured neck heel provides unobstructed access to the upper register, which works great with the double cutaway body design. The Nazgûl combines a large ceramic magnet with custom winding specs. The result is a perfect blend of note articulation, saturation, pick attack, and one of the most brutal chugs you’ll ever hear from a humbucker. It has incredible harmonic content across all frequency ranges, and an insanely tight bass response. The Nazgûl has a seriously aggressive high gain sound that is lively, yet completely controllable. The Sentient neck delivers a balanced, versatile tone that fits right between our iconic ’59 and Jazz model neck pickups. You’ll get pristine cleans, and fluid leads under high gain. The Sentient is a very articulate vintage output pickup with great dynamic response and a wide harmonic range. It works great for low tunings in all humbucker-equipped guitars.
