Here for sale we have an Epiphone Riviera P93 semi-hollow electric guitar in Wine Red finish. Made in China in 2017 this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Maple body, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is equipped with Nickel hardware including a LockTone Tune-O-Matic adjustable bridge and a Bigsby B700 tailpiece, along with a set of Wilkinson 14:1 tuning machines. A trio of Epiphone P-90 pickups are installed, these are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volume controls & master tone control. The Mahogany neck plays well, with the SlimTaper ‘D’ profile feeling substantial yet comfortable in the hand and offering easy fretting in any register. The Gloss finish to the rear feels pleasant to the touch and aids easy transitions up and down the neck, whilst the 12” Rosewood fingerboard and Medium Jumbo frets provide a robust playing experience that feels rock solid under the fingers, enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The semi-hollow construction makes this guitar easy on the shoulders on long gigs, and the smooth lines of the body ensure that this is a comfortable guitar to play in either standing or seated positions. The semi-hollow construction of this guitar means that it resonates and sustains very well. It produces an airy tone with an unpronounced yet well defined low end, detailed upper midrange and sparkly high frequencies. The trio of Alnico-V P90 dog ear pickups sound fantastic, offering a far hotter output than your typical single coil pickup but still retaining a more raw and punchy sound than a Humbucker. These pickups combined with the resonant sound of the semi-hollow Maple body and Bigsby make this an incredibly versatile instrument, suitable for a wide range of styles and players. Light scratching is present to all aspects of the headstock, this is most noticeable to the front face where a lateral scratching can be seen above the D & G tuning machines, these can only be seen under direct light. Neck: Overall excellent condition. The rear of the neck displays very light scratching across the register, this is common with high gloss finishes. All other aspects of the neck displays light signs of past use. Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to all aspects of the body, this is most noticeable to the front face, these can only be seen under direct light as is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use. There is plenty of material of material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform. All of the metal hardware displays mild tarnishing, this is common with regular past use. The scratch plate displays mild scratching which is common with regular past use.
