Made in Indonesia in 2008, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Flamed Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include X Jumbo frets, Black Nickel Hardware, a Tune-O-Matic bridge, ESP tuners, and a set of EMG 81​/​85 pickups that are wired to a volume control, a tone control, and a three-way pickup selector. The gloss-finished Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Thin 'U’ profile feeling nicely slim and articulate in the hand. The neck remains substantial enough to sustain a firm grip for chord playing, whilst offering practicality for fast technical playing. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface right the way up the register, and with its 12" radius and extra jumbo frets delivers a rock-solid playing experience with enhanced string bending and vibrato feel. The active EMG 81​/​85 Pickup Set installed in this guitar delivers thick and crushing tones, well suited to heavy rock, metal and thrash genres. The neck pickup is round and full bodied, and with plenty of power to push your solo tones to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is brighter, and with a hotter output can easily push your amp into a searing, saturated distortion tone. The controls are nice and simple whilst offering plenty of scope for tone-shaping. A mild indentation is present to the volute at the rear of the neck, this has pierced the lacquer finish but does not expose the wood beneath. A very light scuff mark is present to the bass side corner of the rear face, this has slightly exposed the wood beneath. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use. Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Very light delamination of the lacquer finish can be seen to the front face to the treble side of the neck pickup. Very light indentations which do not break the finish can be seen to the lower bout treble side of the rear face. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
