Here for sale we have an ESP LTD Xtone PS-1 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Metallic Red finish. Made in Indonesia in 2013, this bolt-on constructed guitar consists of a semi-hollow Mahogany body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Roasted Jatoba fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece, Chrome hardware, a Tonerider AC4N humbucker in the neck, and a Tonerider Birmingham humbucker in the bridge position. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. The Thin "U'' profiled Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand. It's thick enough to get good support playing rhythmic parts, however is still thin enough to allow for playing lead lines up and down the neck. The body itself feels slim and the 24.75" scale length makes this a comfortable guitar to play. The slightly lower than average cutaway enhances access to the upper register, and makes soloing easy and enjoyable. The Tonerider Humbuckers installed in this guitar deliver a retro tone, with a warmth and clarity provided by each pickup. The clarity and unique tones of these pickups are both big and nuanced, so that you can easily find your tonal sweet spot. This guitar features a semi-hollow construction back which helps add a little extra sustain to the overall tone, whilst keeping the guitar nice and lightweight. The top edge of the headstock displays light scuffing and paint transfer, these have not broken the finish. The front face displays light scratching which is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. A mild indentation is present near the control cavity to the rear face. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be viewed under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm Hex) not included. Hardware: Overall very good condition and fully functional.
