Here for sale we have a Fender 60th Anniversary Jazz Bass in Nitrocellulose Road Worn Olympic White finish. Built in 2020, to celebrate the timeless design of the jazz bass this bass features a bolt-on construction consisting of an Alder body, ‘Roadworn’ Nitrocellulose Lacquer Maple neck and 20 Medium Jumbo fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. The hardware featured on this bass consists of a Fender 4-saddle Vintage-Style bridge with Threaded Steel Saddles and a set of Fender Vintage Style Reverse tuning machines. A pair of Fender Fender 60th Anniversary Jazz Bass Single Coil pickups are installed, these are wired to Stacked Concentric Volume and tone knobs for each pickup. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Mid 60’s ‘C’ profile allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning, whilst the ‘Roadworn’ Nitrocellulose finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck. The Pau Ferro fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 7.5” radius and Medium Jumbo frets allow for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The double cutaway and contoured body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience. The Fender Jazz Bass pickups deliver classic original-era tone and power, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing.
