Here for sale we have a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster 'V' Neck in Black finish. Made in the USA in 2011, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 fret Maple fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted, including a 2-point Synchronized tremolo bridge with block saddles, Synthetic Bone nut and Fender Deluxe Staggered Locking tuning machines. A trio of Fender Noiseless N3 Stratocaster single-coils are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck tone and middle​/​bridge ‘no-load’ tone controls, with an S-1 switch which selects series​/​parallel modes. The Maple neck plays exceptionally well, and is carved into a Soft 'V' profile which provides a smooth & responsive playing experience across the register. The 'V' profile is often overlooked amongst the numerous 'SlimTaper' and 'C' shape profiles which are ubiquitous today. This is a shame because it's a highly ergonomic profile with a distinctive character and feel. The Maple fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with the 9.5"-14" compound radius ensures a tailored playing experience in all registers. Indeed, it is comfortable for chord playing in the lower frets whilst remaining practical for articulate lead lines and string bending as you climb the register. This is enhanced by the Medium Jumbo frets, which provide a rock-solid surface for string bending and vibrato techniques. Fender have really pulled out all the stops when it comes to sonic options on this guitar. The trio of Noiseless N3 single-coils deliver all of the classic Strat character we expect whilst removing the noise & hum often associated with single-coils. The S-1 switch selects series or parallel modes, even enabling all 3 pickups to be engaged simultaneously, adding some real grunt to your tone which is not often easy to say for Stratocasters. The 'No-Load' tone control for the middle​/​bridge pickups operates as a normal tone from 1-9, and completely removes it from the circuit at 10 to send the full unfettered signal from your pickup straight to the output. This is a professional level instrument for the musician who needs their guitar to be ready for wherever the gig takes them. Neck: Overall excellent condition. The satin fish to the rear of the neck has worn to a light gloss through regular use. Any other markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. Mild scratching to the rear face is present near the tremolo cavity, consistent with playwear. Very light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1​/​8" hex) included. Hardware: Excellent condition. The plastic film & stickers are still present on the pickguard & back plate.
