Here for sale we have a Fender American Deluxe Telecaster in Sunburst finish. Built in the USA in 2014, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body and Maple neck, topped with 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. The instrument is equipped with Fender Deluxe Locking tuners, Medium Jumbo frets, string-through-body 6-saddle bridge and 2 Noiseless N3 single-coils. These are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume, master tone and Fender's S-1 switch. The body of this guitar also features some refinements over the standard Telecaster, with a rear bevel carve enhancing comfort and the sculpted neck heel improving access to the top frets. The neck plays well, with the modern 'C' profile assisting with easy fretting. The compound radius fretboard is flatter in the higher register which assists with soloing, especially when bending strings. Along with the medium jumbo frets, the neck is well equipped for any playing situation. The Noiseless N3 pickups fitted to this guitar are fantastic, offering the warmth you would expect in the neck position and the traditional Telecaster twang in the bridge, whilst removing unwanted noise. Fender's S-1 switch adds further tonal options. When the S-1 is engaged with the blade switch in the middle position, we hear both the pickups in series. This results in a fatter, rounder tone which is reminiscent of a humbucker, but with the flavour of a single coil top end. This reveals the wood beneath. Light circular scratching is apparent surrounding the low E machine head which can only be seen under direct lighting at certain angles. Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates very light indentation in the early register which cannot be felt under the thumb in playing position. Body: Overall very good condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate infrequent very light indentation and very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1​/​8" hex) not included. Hardware: Excellent condition. The scratch plate has been replaced, original included.
