Here for sale we have a Fender American Professional Stratocaster in 3-Colour Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2015, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with Nickel​/​Chrome hardware including 2-Point Synchronized tremolo bridge and Fender Standard Sealed​/​Staggered tuning machines. A trio of Fender V-Mod Single-Coil Stratocaster pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume with treble bleed, neck tone and middle​/​bridge tone controls. The Maple neck plays very well, with the Modern 'Deep C' profile sitting very comfortably in the hand and providing easy reach in all registers. The Maple fretboard is pleasant under the fingers and offers a tactile and durable playing surface. Its 9.5" radius delivers a suitably vintage-inspired playing experience whilst retaining practicality for lead lines and string bending, further enhanced by the Narrow Tall frets. The Two-Point Synchronized tremolo bridge is much more usable than the traditional 6-point tremolo, allowing for both dive and lift whilst also ensuring excellent tuning stability. The smooth lines of the Strat body along with generous body contours are as comfortable and familiar as ever, ensuring that long gigs and practice sessions are a breeze. The trio of V-Mod Single-Coil Strat pickups installed in this instrument deliver classic Stratocaster tone with modern refinements. Developed by pickup master Tim Shaw, these pickups are voiced specifically for each position, mixing alnico magnet types and stagger pole-pieces to produce powerful yet nuanced tones. The neck position is warm and smooth, perfect for driving an amp for blues and rock solo tones. The middle pickup feels nice and funky, with an understated yet detailed bass, punchy mids and smooth trebles, whilst the bridge pickup is bright and twangy, just as you would expect. It's easy to see why the Stratocaster has been a mainstay of the guitar world for almost 70 years. Any markings are difficult to discern with the exception of an incredibly small indentation on the top edge of the headstock. Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. Very light scratching can be seen to all surfaces of the body under close scrutiny. There is a small indentation to the edge of the treble side horn which exposes the wood beneath. One slightly deeper scratch is present just beneath the upper strap button. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is substantial material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (1​/​8" Hex) not included. Hardware: Fully functional and excellent condition, with only light oxidation to the metal hardware.
