Here for sale we have a Fender American Ultra Stratocaster in Aged Natural finish. The American Ultra series was introduced in 2019 at the top end of Fender's USA-made production models, replacing the American Elite series and offering player-focussed modern features & playability in a familiar package for the contemporary guitarist. The Ultra II series was announced in Fender's 'Year of the Stratocaster' in 2024, superseding the Ultra but carrying forward the same ethos of precision, versatility & practicality. Made in the USA in 2019, a bolt-on construction is employed and comprises an Ash body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Nickel​/​Chrome hardware is fitted including a 2-Point Deluxe Synchronized tremolo bridge, Deluxe Cast​/​Sealed Locking tuning machines and a Bone nut. A trio of Fender Ultra Noiseless Vintage Strat single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck​/​middle tone and bridge tone controls, with an S-1 switch which adds the neck pickup in positions 1, 2 & 3. The Maple neck plays well, with Fender's Modern 'D' profile delivering supreme comfort and smooth playability across the register. The compound fingerboard radius is highly practical, offering comfort for chord playing in the lower register and transitioning smoothly to a flatter radius as you climb to the upper frets for precise lead playing. The sculpted neck joint offers arguably the best upper fret access Fender have ever achieved, and along with the Jumbo fret wire for enhanced vibrato and string bending, this is a serious tool for the serious musician. The trio of Fender Ultra Noiseless Vintage Strat single-coil pickups installed in this guitar deliver a versatile range of sounds that work well in a variety of musical situations. Being 'vintage voiced', the pickups certainly provide the kind of Strat tones we're used to, but without any of the 'hum' or noise often associated with single-coils. The Neck is nice and round for lead sounds. The middle is funky and clear whilst the brightness of the bridge pickup works perfectly for crunchy rhythm parts and riffs. Using the S-1 Switch to add the neck pickup really bulks out the sound, allowing you to engage all three pickups at once in position 2. An instrument which certainly lives up to the name 'Ultra'. Body: Overall very good condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. This is most notable on the front face to the lower bout and bass side waist. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future fretwork the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1​/​8" hex) not included.
