Built in the USA in 2020, this electric guitar features an Alder body with a Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 2-Point Deluxe Synchronized Tremolo bridge, Die-Cast Sealed locking tuners, and a Bone nut. This guitar is fitted with two Ultra Noiseless Hot Strat Single Coil pickups, and an Ultra Double Tap humbucking pickups which are wired to a 3-way switch with master controls for volume and tone. An additional push​/​push S-1 switch is equipped for series​/​parallel options in the middle position. The compound radius provides maximum hand comfort in the chording area, while allowing greater speed and cleaner string bending as the player moves up the neck. This creates a sense of balanced playability in all registers. The Modern ‘D’ neck profile feels pleasant in the hand, whilst the contoured neck heel and cutaway give you better access to the upper frets, providing a suitably modern and practical playing experience. Amplified, the Ultra II in HSS configuration delivers a diverse range of sounds, equipping you for any musical situation like the swiss army knife of instruments. The Ultra Double Tap Humbucker delivers a searing output for hard lead lines, but can be split using the dedicated S-1 switch in the volume control for more traditional Strat sounds. The Ultra Noiseless Hot Strat single-coils produce warmth and clarity with absolutely no noise. This is perfect for modern digital stage set-ups, cutting out the hum and hiss that has been a quirk of the Strat for 70 years. With typically versatile 5-way switching and soft-touch control knobs, it is very easy to dial in the perfect tone whilst playing. This is an instrument which really does live up to the name 'Ultra'.
