Here for sale we have a Fender Limited Edition American Vintage '70s Hardtail Stratocaster Electric Guitar in 3-Colour Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2014, this bolt-on neck construction guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Strat Strings-Through-Body Hardtail bridge, Nickel​/​Chrome hardware, Standard Cast​/​Sealed tuners, and a set of American Vintage '70s Strat Single-Coil pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, two tone controls, and a 5-way pickup selector. The Maple neck plays well, with Fender's popular 'C' profile feeling comfortable in the hand and offering comfortable playability in all registers. The Maple fingerboard provides a durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius strikes a nice balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending. The familiar lines of the Stratocaster body feel as great in the arms as ever, and provide a comfortable playing experience in both standing or seated positions. The guitar comes fitted with three American Vintage ‘70s Single-Coil Strat pickups. These pickups provide the player with all of the classic Strat tones that you would expect from such an instrument. The bridge pickup is full of heat and bite but is in no way too brittle, perfect for ripping truly searing solos. The middle and neck are given an excellent amount of tonal diversity thanks to the tone control knobs. Packed with warmth and clarity, the neck, middle and in-between positions provide the player with tasteful tones that are enough to inspire any creative mind. Our ID: 1290625112720 Weight: 7.15lbs Serial: US14006848 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edge demonstrates light indentation that does not pierce the finish. The front face demonstrates a light indentation beside the "Stratocaster" logo which has pierced the finish very slightly. Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition, moderate buckle rash is apparent to the rear face that does not pierce the finish. This however is consistent enough to cause a slight hazing of the finish. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use. This does not affect playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1​/​8" hex) not included.
