Made in Mexico in 2014, this bolt-on constructed, vintage-inspired guitar consists of an Ash body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include vintage-style tuners, a 3-Saddle Vintage-Style bridge, and a set of aftermarket Seymour Duncan pickups that are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. The ‘C’ profile neck in gloss finish plays well, with the 7.25" radius providing a suitably vintage feel to an instrument equipped with so many faithful '50s features. The vintage style frets further enhance this authenticity, and paired with the gloss finished Maple fingerboard provide a comfortable and smooth playing experience. The familiar Telecaster body shape is as comfortable as ever, with well set out controls and '50s style single ply pickguard. The pair of Seymour Duncan STL-3 and STR-3 single-coil pickups installed in this instrument deliver bright, crystalline clean tones and searing crunch sounds, just as we expect from a Telecaster. There is plenty of traditional Tele 'Twang' from the bridge pickup; perfect for country and blues licks, whilst the neck position is nice and smooth for your lead lines and solos. The control layout is as simple and effective as ever, responding well to small changes to ensure that you can blend into any musical setting with ease. Nitro checking is apparent to all aspects of the headstock. Neck: Overall very good condition, Nitro checking is apparent to all aspects of the neck. some wear through the finish is apparent to the bass side of the second fret revealing the wood beneath. Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates a moderate chip beneath the bridge behind the high E & B strings. Further chipping is apparent to the bass side shoulder, the treble side edge of the lower bout, beside the control plate and the bottom rear edge. The bottom edges of the guitar demonstrate some discoloration from being on a guitar stand. Both corners of the neck pocket demonstrate very light finish cracking, common with bolt on neck construction. This does not affect structural integrity. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (flathead driver) not included.
