Fender Fretless Precision Bass, Walnut, 1979 Style. Upgraded

A stunning Fender Fretless Precision Bass in Walnut with in great condition. It has to be played to understand how amazing this bass is. Grab an early 70’s vintage looking bass for about a third of the price, which plays like a dream. This version is based on a 1979 model. This bass has a fully loaded Fender Japan Hybrid II Alder body in a Walnut finish with original pickups/bridge/thumbrest/chrome flat top knobs/black pickguard. The original bass cost £1,299. It has been upgraded with full size CTS pots/dime .47 capacitor/cloth wiring/Fender HiMass bridge and an excellent quality Japanese after market, licensed by Fender, all Roasted Maple “A” neck (Jazz profile which Fender gave as an option on their Precision basses from 1972) with the fingerboard measuring 38.1mm at the nut, built in the same factory as the AllParts necks (original fretted neck had to be replaced due to an unrepairable twist, and this neck cost £325 when bought). With a 1979 Fender Precision Bass decal and loaded with a chrome Gotoh RB20 round string tree and chrome Gotoh FB30 Bass Tuners (at a cost of £115). Comes with a gig bag. A relic/roadworn look is also available if you want that complete vintage look, just let me know and we can discuss price (not expensive) depending on how much relicking is required.
