Here for sale we have a Fender Player Jazz Bass in Capri Orange. Made in Mexico in 2019, this bass features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 20 fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a 4-Saddle bridge and open-geared tuning machines. A pair of Player Series Alnico 5 single-coil pickups are fitted in the middle and bridge positions, and are wired to independent volume controls and a master tone. The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate grip across the register. The 1.5" nut width is nice and traditional, offering ample string spacing for accurate fretting. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius offers a tactile, durable and practical playing surface. The Medium Jumbo frets provide a rock solid sensation under the fingers whilst enhancing the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques. The Fender Jazz Bass pickups deliver classic original-era tone and power, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition, a moderate indentation is apparent to the bottom edge which pierces the finish slightly. Light indentation can be identified to the front face under direct lighting at certain angles. These markings do not pierce the finish. All aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
